What Does the Day of My Wedding Look Like?

One of the most common questions we’re asked in our inquiry consultation is, “What does the day of my wedding look like?” It helps to know exactly what a wedding florist does, so I thought I’d share some key aspects of our service to help provide a stress-free wedding planning experience.

Please note: The most important aspect of ensuring a smooth wedding day that exceeds your expectations is an abundance of communication throughout our design process. Through optimal communication, we are able to confirm we grasp your vision entirely, the colors we have chosen match the vibe you’re looking for, and that no details have been left out (like an added last-minute bridesmaid, or 10 new guests that your mom couldn’t leave off the invite list).

To do this, we are in your inbox every month to help guide your planning process. But, also to remind you we’re here if you need us! We meet about 3 times via phone call or zoom meet, and send out several confirmations to get your signed ‘ok.’

We are also in contact with your venue coordinator to confirm our details, submit insurance requirements, and receive a copy of the seating chart outline.

What Does the Day of My Wedding Look Like? Here’s the Schedule:

  • We Pick Up & pack up our van/ box truck and triple-check our checklists.

  • Deliver your bouquet and bridal party personals in time for photography detail photos.

  • Head over to the venue to set up according to our timeline. all ceremony decor is set up before guests begin to arrive & finish up in the cocktail hour & reception space until the ceremony is over.

  • We stay until after the ceremony is complete to turn over the ceremony decor that we’re able to repurpose in your reception space.

  • Come back after the reception ends to clean up floral decor and installations, and pack up our rental items.

    • And, if you opt for floral preservation services, we will bring your bridal bouquet back with us to our studio to preserve the blooms asap.

      • The flowers are all yours to keep, but unless purchased, the vessels are rentals to be collected at the end of the evening by our clean-up and collection service.
